Darwin is in the Top End and is the largest city in the Northern Territory. You can find for general information about Darwin and its surrounds on the Tourism NT website.
Many of you will be arriving in Darwin by plane. Darwin International Airport is located approximately 11km from Darwin CBD. Domestic and international services arrive in Darwin, with airlines servicing the area including Qantas, Virgin Australia, Jetstar, Singapore Airlines and Air Asia. Take care to book as far in advance as possible as flights fill up quickly (red-eye flights are often a cheaper alternative for those travelling domestically).
Taxi and rideshare are available on arrival, with some hotels providing a shuttle service. Further information can be found on the Darwin International Airport website or through your respective hotel.
Our conference venue is located in the Darwin CBD and is walking distance to a number of hotels and restaurants. We have a list of hotels on the Where to Stay page that may be of assistance in your planning and preparations.
